I Corinthians Chapter 1

I Corinthians Chapter 2

1.            Not with excellency of speech or wisdom

5.            The things which God has prepared for them that love him

I Corinthians Chapter 5

1.             A man had sexual relations with his father’s wife

I Corinthians Chapter 7

1.             To avoid fornication

2.             Otherwise Satan could tempt the other partner

6.             For the sake of the children

7.             It provides an opportunity for the unsaved spouse to be saved

8.             Don’t always be jumping from one situation to another

9.             Distress (crisis)

10.         The single person can have single devotion serving the Lord without having to care for the things of the world in order to please the spouse

11.         She is at liberty to be married to anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord 

I Corinthians Chapter 8

1.             Pride

2.             Edifies (builds up)

4.             There is one God, the Father, of whom are all things

5.             Their conscience being weak is defiled

9.             If what he ate caused a brother to fall into sin, he would never eat meat again

I Corinthians Chapter 9

1.             Freedom, personally saw Jesus, his converts in the Corinthian church

2.             To eat and drink, to marry, to forbear working

3.             1) Soldier gets paid, 2) Planter of vineyard eats grapes, 3) Leader of flock drinks milk, 4) Ox eats corn, 5) Those that plow, plow in hope, 6) Those that thresh share in the harvest

I Corinthians Chapter 10

1.             Under the cloud passed through the sea, baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea, ate spiritual meat, drank spiritual drink

I Corinthians Chapter 11

I Corinthians Chapter 13

1.             Love (charity)

2.             Speak with tongues, gift of prophecy, understand all mysteries, all knowledge, faith to move mountains, bestow all goods to feed the poor, give body to be burned

I Corinthians Chapter 15

1.             Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again

5.             How say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? How are the dead raised With what body will they come?

6.             Christ is not risen

7.             Our preaching and faith is vain. We are still in our sins. Those dead in Christ are perished. We are most miserable. Our baptism is worthless, risking our life is foolish

8.             The first fruits of them who died

9.             Be subject to him that put all things under him

11.         Just like the grown plant is different from the seed, the resurrected body will be different from the body that dies

I Corinthians Chapter 16

1.             An offering for Jerusalem

2.             Spend the winter with the church at Corinth

4.             See that he has nothing to fear, accept his work, don’t despise him, then send him in peace to Paul

5.             For him to go to Corinth

6.             Watch ye (be on guard), Quit like men (be men of courage), Be strong, Do everything with charity (in love)

II Corinthians Chapter 1

II Corinthians Chapter 5

1.             The hope of having a new eternal body in the heavens

2.             While in our earthly body we are absent from the Lord, but when absent from the body we will be in the presence of the Lord

3.             By faith and not by sight

6.             They glory in appearance and not in heart

II Corinthians Chapter 6

1.             Out of their most sever trial, their overflowing joy, and their extreme poverty they gave with rich generosity

2.             They were willing to give beyond their ability

3.             Their own selves first

4.             In the grace of giving

5.             Our Lord Jesus Christ

6.             Finish the work of giving that they had started the year before

7.             According to what one has and not according to what he does not have

8.             At the present your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need

9.             Titus initiated the gift, he had the same concern for the Corinthians as Paul did and he was Paul’s partner and fellow-helper

10.         He was praised by all the churches and chosen to travel with Paul in administering the offering. He often proved his diligence

11.         He wanted to avoid blame by being honest not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men

12.         Their love and the reason Paul was proud of them 

II Corinthians Chapter 9

1.             So that when he came with representatives from Macedonia, he would not find that his boasting of their generosity would be in vain. He wanted them to take up the offering before he got there.

2.             Sow sparingly, reap sparingly, Sow bountifully, reap bountifully

3.             Cheerfulness

4.             Multiply their seed sown and increase the fruits of their righteousness

5.             To supply needs and to say thanks to God

6.             To your obedience and will pray for you

7.             Unspeakable

4.             Those from Macedonia

5.             To keep from being burdensome and to cut off any criticism

6.             False apostles, deceitful workers, who transformed themselves into the apostles of Christ

7.             Enslave, exploit and take advantage of them even slapping them on the face

8.             Hebrew, Israelite, seed of Abraham, minister of Christ

9.             Labors, stripes, imprisonment, beaten with rods, stoned, shipwrecked, hunger, thirst, fasting, cold, nakedness

10.         The care of all the churches

11.         Of the things that showed his weaknesses (infirmities)

12.         It was when Aretas, the king, kept the city guarded in order to arrest Paul that he was lowered in a basket from a window in the wall and escaped 

II Corinthians Chapter 12

1.             An experience of being caught up into the third heaven (paradise) and hearing unspeakable words

2.             Lest anyone would think more highly of him than they should. Also that the power of Christ would rest on him

3.             Lest he become exalted (conceited)

4.             My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness

5.             In nothing was he inferior to the chiefest of apostles

6.             They did not support Paul financially

7.             He sought them rather than their possessions

8.             Titus or the brother

9.             For their edifying

10.         That there would be debates, envyings, wraths, backbitings, whisperings, swellings (arrogance) and tumults. And that when he came he would be humbled because many had not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery they were involved with 

II Corinthians Chapter 13

1.             He gave them a warning that on his return he would not spare those who sinned earlier

2.             Paul would be weak like Christ was when crucified, that he could live with Christ by the power of God

3.             Examine themselves to see whether they were in the faith

4.             That they do no evil and be honest

5.             For edification and not destruction., For building up and not tearing down

6.             Be perfect, be of good comfort, be on one mind, live in peace

7.             Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, Love of God, Communion of the Holy Ghost
