4.      God would establish the throne of his kingdom, and there shall not fail a man to be ruler in Israel.

II Chronicles Chapter 8

1.      The store cities . all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen

2.      Because the places were holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD had come

II Chronicles Chapter 9

1.      With hard questions

2.      The one half of the greatness of Solomon’s wisdom was not told me but exceeded the fame that she heard.

II Chronicles Chapter 16

1.      Because Baasha, king of Israel, had come against Asa and Asa wanted Benhadad to break his league with Baasha so he would depart

2.      Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD your God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of your hand.  Herein you have done foolishly: therefore from now on you shall have wars.

3.      Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house

4.      In his feet he had an exceeding great disease

 

II Chronicles Chapter 17

1.      Because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not to Baalim;  But sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in his commandments,

2.      To teach the law of the LORD

 

II Chronicles Chapter 18

1.      To go with him to fight against Ramoth-gilead

2.      Inquire at the word of the LORD

3.      Go up to Ramoth-gilead, for the LORD would deliver it into the hand of the king

4.      He never prophesied good to Ahab, but always evil

5.      That Israel would be scattered and the every man should return to his home

6.      Put him in prison, and feed him with bread and water of affliction

7.      He was wounded by a random arrow and died that evening

 

II Chronicles Chapter 19

1.      Because he helped the ungodly, and loved them that hated the LORD

2.      He took away the groves out of the land, and prepared his heart to seek God.  He also set Levites, priests, and the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies and  charged them to judge in the fear of the LORD with a perfect heart.

 

II Chronicles Chapter 20

1.      He set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah

2.      Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. You shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD for the LORD will be with you.

3.      A loud voice on high

4.      The LORD set ambushes against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

5.      Three days

6.      Jehoshaphat joined himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly, to make the ships

 

II Chronicles Chapter 21

1.      He slew them with the sword

2.      Because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.

II Chronicles Chapter 22

1.      His mother, Athaliah the daughter of Omri, was his counselor to do wickedly

2.      He went out with Jehoram, the son of Ahab, against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab

4.      She destroyed all the seed royal

1.      Jehoiada

2.      She rent her clothes and cried Treason, Treason

3.      At the entering of the horse gate

4.      Broke it down and slew the priest of Baal

 

II Chronicles Chapter 24

1.      All the days of Jehoiada the priest.

2.      A chest

3.      They left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols

4.      Stoned him

5.      The army of the Syrians

II Chronicles Chapter 25

1.      He did not have a perfect heart

2.      The LORD was not with Israel and if Israel went with Judah  God would make them fall before the enemy

3.      The prophet Obed inspired heads of the children of Ephraim, to  stand up against them that came from the war

4.      He sacrificed to the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me.

 

II Chronicles Chapter 29

1.      He opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them and had the Levites carry the filthiness out of the holy place

2.      Their fathers  trespassed, did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, forsook God, and turned away from the LORD,

3.      All the uncleanness that they found

4.      All the vessels, which king Ahaz cast away in his transgression,

5.      The service of the house of the LORD was set in order suddenly

 

II Chronicles Chapter 30

1.      To keep the Passover that the fierceness of God’s wrath may turn away from them they might find compassion

2.      The good LORD pardon every one that prepares his heart to seek God, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary

II Chronicles Chapter 31

1.      Give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD

1.      He  did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, built again the high places, reared up altars for Baalim, worshipped all the host of heaven, built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD, caused his children to pass through the fir, observed times, used enchantments, witchcraft, worked much evil, and set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God

2.      They took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon

3.      He sought the LORD his God, humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers and prayed

4.      The strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the house of the LORD

5.      He did not humble himself before the LORD

6.      His servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house

 

II Chronicles Chapter 34

1.      Eight years old

2.      Seek after the God of David his father:

3.   He began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, groves, carved images, and molten images. Also, he burnt the bones of the priests on their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem

4.      He gave money to workmen to repair the house of the LORD

5.      A book of the law of the LORD given by Moses.

6.      He rent his clothes and inquired concerning the words of the book

7.      God would bring judgment on Judah but not during the days of Josiah

8.      He read to all the book of the law and caused all to serve the LORD

 

II Chronicles Chapter 35

1.      The Passover

2.      He did not listen to what Necho king of Egypt said and instead made war with him

 

II Chronicles Chapter 36

1.      Put him down from being king of Judah

2.      Eliakim the brother of Jehoahaz, and turned his name to Jehoiakim

3.      Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon

4.      Brought him to Babylon

5.      Zedekiah his brother

6.      Jeremiah

7.      Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon

8.      Because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place

9.      Burnt the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces

10.  Until the reign of the kingdom of Persia
